Jesmeet, Edish, Me & my Sweetheart

Last weekend was one of the most amazing and wonderful family get together I've been part of in a long time. It's simply an awesome feeling when 13 hungry PAYI family members get together with FOOD in mind at a china-man's shop. The feeling was electrifying!
It’s Jesmeet I have to thank for as it was her graduation day on Aug 18, which brought her, Edish, her family, her sister’s in-laws and of cos my sweetheart and her mom plus me, all 13 of us together for a long over due feast at the seafood village in Bukit Tambun, Prai.

It certainly was a splendid feast of food, laughter and joy cos it was with people you luv.…till it was time to wash our hands!!! The sink stunk and I swear I could smell the stinking smelly smell of something which smelled stinkingly smelly where the stinky sink sat! Pity I didn’t take the pic of the sink. But the food was great. Especially the ikan 3 rasa & soft shell crabs.

Its times like this when I truly appreciate my blessings to have wonderful moments with people whom I call family.

Thank u all. It was truly the most wonderful way to spend a weekend.

Ride uP Fraser's Hill

Weekend's are the BEST days of the week.
Saturday started without alarm clocks jolting me to exercise the snooze button several times before the brain actually picks up the message - D'OH! Im suppose to be getting up NOW!!
Its always a such a wonderful feelin' to wake up naturally...and that's normally anywhere between 8.30 - 9.30am for me.

Breakfast on a Sat morning... Ahhhhhh such a delight! It had been quite some time since i'd had my fav breakfast so it was time to get the baked beans, scrambled eggs & sausages out on the stove with freshly brewed coffee.

Sat breakfast is only of course complete with TV cartoons & the Sat paper.
Mmmmmm such pleasure!

Then the preparation for Sunday begins -

It's a trip to The Bike Shop yes thats actually the name of the bike shop). My bike's front brakes were begining to get a little soft and needed a change of brake fluid plus i needed to lube the chain and get a new chain slider.
So all that done n now I'm all ready for Sunday.

Sunday
This weeks weekend ride was to Fraser's Hill through the beautiful windy road of Ulu Yam. Its always such a serene experience riding on these roads with the lush green hills meeting gorgeous lakes along the way.
Its almost blissful just breathing in the scenery.
The ride usually begins with the gang meeting up at the Mobil station at Jalan Kuching around 8.30am.


Then after fueling n gearing up... off we go. Its time to truly RIDE our beauties.

The ride is not all about speed and leaning low into and out of the turns. Its always a test of discipline and self assessment and courage as riding these 1000 cc machines requires the utmost RESPECT for the road and machine.


The best ride is always a Safe and a Smooth ride.

Its always a thrill to then break for a FEAST and share stories and talk about the ride.
